These terms apply to licences bought through this website. If you obtained the app from the Mac App Store or the Microsoft Store, your purchase is governed by the terms of that store, and Apple or Microsoft is your contractual partner for it. Sections 4 to 6 below still describe what the software does and does not do.
World Clock Live is a desktop application for Windows and macOS that displays a world clock on the desktop background layer.
Prices are final prices. VAT is handled by Stripe as merchant of record and shown at checkout.
A contract is formed when you complete the checkout. Payment is processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. as merchant of record; Stripe issues the receipt. Delivery is electronic: your licence key is sent to the e-mail address you enter at checkout, normally within a few minutes. If no key arrives, write to the address above and you will receive one.
You receive a non-exclusive, perpetual right to use the software in the edition you bought. A Pro key may be used on all computers that belong to you personally, on Windows and macOS alike. A Business key covers use within one company at one office location. You may not resell, sublicense, rent out or publish licence keys, and you may not circumvent the licence check.
The software itself remains the property of the vendor. Nothing here transfers ownership or grants rights to the source code.
As a consumer in the EU you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. Because the licence key is digital content delivered immediately, you are asked at checkout to agree that delivery begins at once and to acknowledge that your right of withdrawal lapses once delivery has begun. Until you give that agreement and delivery starts, the 14-day right applies in full. To withdraw, an informal message to the e-mail address above is enough.
Independently of this, a free edition exists so that you can test the software before paying. If Pro does not work on your machine and cannot be made to work, write to us and you will get your money back.
The application sends no telemetry, no usage data and no crash reports, contains no advertising and no tracking, and stores its settings only on your own device. Details are in the privacy policy.
The statutory warranty for defects applies. The software is provided in the state described on this website; no guarantee is given that it is free of all errors or suitable for a particular purpose beyond that description.
The vendor is liable without limitation for damage arising from injury to life, body or health, for intent and gross negligence, and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence the vendor is liable only where an obligation essential to the purpose of the contract is breached, and then only for foreseeable damage typical of this kind of contract. Liability is otherwise excluded.
These terms may change for future purchases. The version in force at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.
German law applies, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country in which you habitually reside. The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
