The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Pages). Serving a page means Cloudflare processes the technically necessary connection data (IP address, time, page requested, browser) to deliver and protect the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). For audience measurement we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It works without cookies, without local storage and without fingerprinting: it records aggregate figures only – pages viewed, time on page, referring page, country, device type and browser. No cross-site or cross-device profile is built, no user identifier is assigned, and your IP address is not stored. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in data-minimising statistics about the use of our site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Because nothing is read from or written to your device, no consent is required and we therefore run no cookie banner. We use no other advertising or tracking services. The live demo keeps your theme choice in your browser's localStorage; nothing is sent to us.
Purchases are handled end to end by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Dublin, Ireland) as merchant of record. Stripe collects and processes your payment, contact and invoice data under its own responsibility; see Stripe's privacy policy. After payment Stripe returns you to our confirmation page, passing the identifier of your checkout session to our licence function (Cloudflare), which asks Stripe for the payment status and the product bought and generates your licence key from it. Your e-mail address is embedded in the key so it can be attributed to you; beyond that we store no purchase or customer data on our own systems (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
If you get the app from the Mac App Store, Apple handles the purchase. We collect no personal data in the process and receive from Apple no names, no e-mail addresses and no payment details — only anonymous, aggregated sales figures. Apple's privacy policy covers the purchase and your Apple Account. The Pro unlock is recorded locally on your Mac; no account with us is created. The App Store edition has no licence keys.
The app sends no usage data, no telemetry and no crash reports, and contains no advertising and no tracking. Settings are stored only on your own device. The app opens no network connection of its own. The only exceptions: in the App Store edition it talks to Apple when you buy Pro or restore a purchase; in the website edition it verifies a licence key offline on your device, and only for keys bought through the online store does it check that key's validity once with the vendor's licence service.
If you write to us, we process what you send in order to deal with your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete it once it is no longer needed.
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. To exercise any of these, write to the e-mail address above.
